DIY Initial Bag Charm

Yep, I’m back at it with another DIY post. Let’s get to it.
I love anything varsity. Jackets, sweaters, monograms, letters, whatever. And what’s the best way to snazz up a thick block letter? Sequins, of course. So here’s a little bag charm you can make on your own!

Here’s what you’re going to need:

Begin by sticking the varsity letter stencil on your cardboard, and cut the cardboard out to shape. Do it twice- one for the front and one for the back.

using the white border line as your guide, stick sequins of one colour along the entire border. Since I chose the classic black-red combo, I lined the border with black sequins.

When you’re done with your border, leave it to dry for a couple minutes. Then start gluing sequins to the inside. I used red sequins for this.

You’re halfway there! Leave this side to dry. If you’re not using very thick cardboard, sandwich under a heavy book so it dries flat.

Attach ribbon as a loop to the back, and insert a hook or even a key chain ring to it. And you’re done!
